- Sound -
If you experience any kind of problem with sound playback, please try to update your sound card drivers.
- Proxies -
If you use a proxy and don't see the "can't open requested file" message from StreamPlug, you probably need to configure your proxy settings. You can do so by clicking on the option button on StreamPlug's skin. It is the first button upper left hand side.
- Firewall -
If you get an error message when starting StreamPlug "Can't open requested file" you might want to disable your firewall. Firewalls can prevent files to get through in some cases. It is safe to disable your firewall when using StreamPlug, but recommended to restart it when done.
- Javascripts -
If nothing at all happens when you click on a StreamPlug link, make sure that you have javascripts enabled in your browser settings.
- Bandwidth -
If you experience "stuttering" during playback, ie, the player pauses and restarts frequently, you might want to free some of your bandwidth. Try to pause any upload and download that you have currently running. Alternatively, you can put StreamPlug on pause and let it buffer more information.
